Full Description

These detailed woodworking trestle table plans include views and measurements of all the parts and joints, including a cut list. These detailed DIY trestle table plans also offer woodworkers a great project to refine their joinery skills with mortise & tenon joinery, and much more.

These Trestle Table plans come with both an Imperial measurement version and a Metric measurement version.

A little history: Joshua Farnsworth designed this trestle table plan loosely based on an antique trestle table. But the name comes from the amazing figured white oak timber that he cut, milled, and used to build this dining table. He milled the lumber from a huge tree that started growing right during the American Civil war, in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia, right where soldiers would have been marching!

This plan was designed to give woodworkers a very simple trestle table, for their first time building a dining table. The design also incorporates big, heavy pieces of lumber to produce a very sturdy and rustic, yet elegant dining table.
